🐾 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

šŸ“… How do I book?

Send us a message with your requested dates and your dog’s information. We recommend booking as early as possible, especially around holidays. We ask for at least 2 days’ noticeĀ whenever possible.

🐶 Do I need a Meet & Greet?

For boarding and daycare, we highly recommend a Trial DaycareĀ before your dog’s first stay. This allows us to evaluate temperament, introduce your dog to the environment, and help them settle in before an overnight stay.

šŸ” What is Trial Daycare?

Trial Daycare is an optionalĀ daycare visit that helps your dog become familiar with us, our routine, and the other dogs. During the day you’ll receive:

  • šŸ“ø A midday photo update

  • 🐾 An update on how your dog’s day is going

  • ā¤ļø A chance for your dog to build confidence before boarding

ā° What are your drop-off and pick-up hours?

Drop-off and pick-up are available daily from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

šŸ• What dogs do you accept?

We welcome:

  • Friendly, social dogs

  • Spayed/neutered dogs (preferred)

  • Dogs comfortable in a group environment

For everyone’s safety, we may decline dogs with severe aggression or behavior concerns.

šŸ’‰ What vaccines are required?

Dogs must be current on:

  • Rabies

  • DHPP/Distemper combination

  • Bordetella

We may request proof of vaccinations before your stay.

šŸ½ļø What should I bring?

Please bring:

  • Your dog’s food (pre-portioned if possible)

  • Any medications

  • Special treats if desired

We provide bowls, bedding, toys, and plenty of love!

šŸ’¤ Where will my dog sleep?

Dogs sleep safely indoors in our home. We tailor sleeping arrangements to each dog’s comfort level, using crates or separate areas when appropriate.

šŸŽ¾ How much exercise do dogs get?

Dogs enjoy supervised outdoor play, enrichment activities, rest breaks, and social time throughout the day. Every dog’s activity level is adjusted to their age and energy level.

šŸ“± Will I receive updates?

Yes! We send:

  • šŸ“ø Daily photo updates (typically in the evening)

  • A midday updateĀ during Trial Daycare

  • You’re always welcome to text or call if you’d like an update.

šŸŽ“ What does Board & Train include?

Training focuses on real-life manners and can include:

  • Sit

  • Down

  • Stay

  • Heel

  • Recall

  • Place

  • Door manners

  • Impulse control

  • Leash skills

We also provide how-to videos, a go-home instruction guide, and strongly recommend a 1–2 hour Go Home Lesson ($50)Ā so your dog learns to listen to you before returning home.

āœ‚ļø Do you offer grooming?

Yes! We offer grooming for both clients and boarding dogs, including baths, de-shedding treatments, nail trims (as an add-on), teeth brushing, paw balm, and more.

šŸ’µ What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is due at pickup.

  • šŸ’µ Cash — Standard pricing

  • šŸ’™ Venmo — 5% processing fee added

āŒ What is your cancellation policy?

Holiday reservations require advance notice for cancellations. Please let us know as soon as possible if your plans change.

ā¤ļø What makes All Pets Sitting different?

We’re a small, family-owned, in-home business that limits the number of dogs in our care. This allows us to provide personalized attention, supervised play, structured routines, and a calm home environment where every dog is treated like family.
